Do you buy jewelry?

Yes! We buy diamonds, jewelry – including estate jewelry – and watches. While an appointment is not required, we do recommend emailing info@ebhorn.com with photos, diamond certifications, appraisals or any other relevant documentation and we can take it from there. 

Please keep in mind that we may not make offers on everything.

Do I need an appointment to drop off my repair or pick it up?

No, you do not. Just knock on our door and someone will be happy to help you. 

How long do watch batteries take?

Right now, the turnaround time is about a week though that is subject to change.

How do I make an appointment?

To set up an appointment to shop, please contact us. We look forward to hearing exactly what you are looking for and helping you find the perfect piece.

For repairs or watch battery replacements, no appointment is needed.

How far back do our records go?

Our digital records go back to the early 2000s. 

How do I get an updated appraisal

There is no charge for updating an E.B. Horn appraisal. Please email the older appraisal with the name and address that is on it. If you need a new address added, please include that as well.

How much do appraisals cost?

For a signed and written appraisal which can be used for insurance, estate, liquidation, etc., fees start at $140 for the first item and $50 per item after that. Please keep in mind that these prices are subject to change depending on the nature of the item.

Do I need to leave my jewelry for an appraisal?

We prefer to perform the appraisal in front of you. We typically have staff available for an appraisal from Monday to Friday, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. 

Does E.B. Horn sell lab grown diamonds?

We do have a selection of high-quality lab grown diamonds to complement our extensive natural diamond offerings. We look forward to discussing the perfect diamond for you that fits both your budget and your lifestyle.

What are your hours?

We are typically open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Please check our hours page for any changes to that schedule. The last appointment is at 4:30 p.m.

Where is the best place to park?

We know the city can get busy! Street parking is ideal but we are happy to discount parking at the Lafayette garage. There is also public transportation available nearby at Downtown Crossing station with Orange and Red Line access. Green Line Park St. is one block away.
