A Boston Father’s Day

Chances are, you have a dad who’s a little difficult to shop for. Start at the New England Aquarium with penguins and seals, then head out to sea to meet Sprinkles and Shuffleboard, two of Boston Harbor’s most famous whales! End your afternoon on the Greenway at The Trillium Garden for a great selection of beer and wine.

There’s nothing like a great walk in the park. With a few clubs, of course. Spend some time on the links at one of Boston’s best gems: the Donald Ross designed George Wright Golf Course. See if he knows the course was named after the Boston Red Stockings hall of famer, sparking memories of the Red Sox he watched when he was a kid.

If Dad’s always searching for the best BBQ (other than his own, of course), head to the Liberty Hotel. The seventh Annual Father’s Day BBQ features ribs, brisket and whole roasted jerk chicken – complemented by bourbon and live music. Have dessert on-site, or take a stroll down by the Charles River to J.P. Licks for a quindecennial Boston treat.
