Anniversary Gift Dreaming With E.B. Horn

Hard to believe it, but in September MJD and I will be celebrating our third wedding anniversary! The time has seriously flown by. Most years for our anniversary we focus on doing something together over gifts, like our trip to Paris for our one year or last year’s Newport and Castle Hill date to celebrate year two. For our third anniversary, we are headed back to Italy to visit two new-to-us spots, Lake Como and Venice. I couldn’t be more excited!

Though I love a good anniversary trip, I couldn’t resist playing with some sparkly pieces when my new friends at E.B. Horn asked me to pick out some anniversary gift ideas. If you are a Boston guy or gal and haven’t heard of E.B. Horn yet, pay attention! They are one of Boston’s oldest jewelers having been in business for over 175 years. E.B. Horn is located in Downtown Crossing and offers a gorgeous selection of jewelry, including engagement rings, wedding bands and beautiful pieces to celebrate any occasion (like a third wedding anniversary- cough cough, MJD)!

As I browsed E.B. Horn’s amazing collection, a few pieces stuck out to me. Since our anniversary is in September and also my birthday, sapphires are one of my favorite stones. Oh, and you all know I love blue! I instantly fell in love with the gorgeous diamond and sapphire earrings and bracelet- they are classic, beautiful pieces, but with just a little color to make them stand out. Besides the sapphire pieces, Doug helped me pick out a few complimentary rings to my existing engagement ring and wedding band. I loved the balance of having a right hand ring and the infinity ring was super pretty for both everyday and special occasions!
